Frequently Asked Questions

Google products are constantly changing and so are the ways to use them.  This information is being added October 2015 and is current to this date.   If you find it is not current and no longer useful please use our contact form to let us know and we’ll be happy to add an update.

To to use google pluse  I find the easiest thing to do is to log into my gmail account and then go to the set of 9 squares 

by your profile pic at the top right hand corner of the page.  Click that box.Then click on the google + logo inside of the box.  Now you should see a  share box on that page.  Using that share box, will share  your post as the profile you used to log into the google account (the account you signed into with).  To use it as your business page go to profile pic in the right corner of this page and click on the pic.  In that drop down box click show all google pages.  Then you should see your business page pop up.  Then  click on your page logo.  Now the post / share box will let you post as your buisness.

PDF’s can be added to your website.  This can be done in two ways.

1. You can upload the PDF to the media gallery and add it to the page in the same manner that you add an image.  The title listed to the right in the media gallery will become the link that site visitors will click on to actually view the pdf.  Be sure to link to media is checked.  And click enter.  You will not actually see the pdf pages themselves on the site. Rather you will see a link leading to the pdf which can be read in most browsers.

2. With the second method you will actually see your PDF pages on the site.  Outside of wordpress you will need to convert pages to jpg(s). Then from the page you want these to appear on click add image link.  Go to the gallery and upload all the pages of the pdf (which are now jpg). Then individually add them to your site just as an image.  Be sure to click full size before entering to add to page.
